Evaluation

Describes to the student how they will be evaluated, usually reviewing what is to be submitted and how.

Rubric

Rubrics are basically a simplified way to grade a complicated assignment.

I like them because: First it answers the question of "How will this be graded" and Second I find that by giving the students specific expectations for each task you actually encourge them to work a little harder.

Whether you use a rubric or not, you must provide the student with some kind of explanation of how you will be assessing their successful completion of the Webquest.
