Introduction This webquest was designed to intergrate technology into the Spanish 101 curriculm. A webquest is not just a passive activity (like a workbook), but rather one which requires students attend to the input and then process it to produce thier own comprehensible output. This activity helps students to develop proficiency in four areas of SLA, reading, writing, listening and speaking.
Learners This webquest is designed to help attain proficiency in taking directions and giving directions using the imperative. The level needed for this activitiy is very low as this webquest helps build vocabulary passively while the interalization of the input occurs during the completion of the exercises.
Curriculum Standards The webquest adheres to the standards of BGSU's Spanish 101 program.

Conclusion Using a webquest can simulate an experience similar to that which would be required in a situation where the second language is needed. It offers a change of pace for both teacher and student from the text based learning.
