Introduction

This webquest is designed for Spanish students to practice the four main skills of language (reading, writing, listening and speaking) by using the Spanish verb SER with animals to indicate certain meaning.

 

Learners

This particular webquest is designed for adult beginning Spanish speakers as a fun activity.

 

Prior to the lesson learners will need to have a basic knowledge of the verb SER.

 

Curriculum Standards

Conforms to the curriculum standards of Bowling Green State University's lower division Spanish classes taught by the Department of Romance and Classical Studies.

 

Process

Lesson should be done in a 50 minute lab.

 

This particular webquest should be done individually.

 

Instructor should have experience using Audacity (a digital recording software), Microsoft Word, and the internet.

Conclusion

Students will be receiving practice with the present tense verb SER, and a cursory knowledge of Spanish phrases used in the cultural context.
