While in Martinique, you will notice their language is very different from what you have heard in French class. That is because in Martinique they speak Creole.
Today, you will learn how to say a few things in Creole by going to the following website:
http://www.lecorde.com/creole/kreyol/index.php?page=Expressions
Click on the words in red to hear how they are pronounced.
Then, create a new blog entry titled Day 1 - Creole. Using the expressions you have learned, write a conversation in Creole and post it in your blog. This exchange should be at least 12 lines long (each person speaking at least 6 times).
Practice the exchange with your partner and when you are ready, use Audacity and record the conversation.
When you are finished, save your file as Name1_Name2_convo.mp3 (use Export as .MP3 instead of Save As), and then upload it to your class's digital drop box (make sure you use Send file, not Add).
On to Day 2
