Hiroko Nakamoto Art Gallery
(Japanese Tea Ceremony Room)
The authentic Japanese tea ceremony room is located in the School of Art. It was built in 1991 as a gift from a BGSU alumna, Dr. Hiroko Nakamoto, and her friends in Japan. It is completed with a Japanese stone lantern, screen, and tatami mat.
Nakamoto Room for Japanese Studies
The Japanese Studies Room is located on the 11th floor of Offenhauer-West. This is donated by Dr. Hiroko Nakamoto in 1991. The room is equipped with a TV, a VCR, a small library, tokonoma, stone lantern, and a Japanese screen.
