Study in Salzburg

The total value of the graduate year in Salzburg including BGSU tuition in 2010-2011 was $14,168 for in-state students and $21,476 for out-of-state students. However, students selected as graduate assistants receive a tuition grant plus a stipend of $4000. Also included are housing, educational travel, and special events such as a concert series, theater, and program gatherings. (Not included are airfare to and from Salzburg as well as personal travel.)

Study on the home campus

Teaching and research assistantships are available on the BGSU home campus to full-time students who have satisfactorily completed the year of study in Salzburg and, in some cases, to entering graduate students. Assistants also receive a tuition grant for the following summer session if needed. An additional cash stipend may also be available for teaching or assisting in research during the summer session.
