The German Club, the German Drama Group, and the Dept. of GREAL present Andreas Gryphius's Baroque comedy Herr Peter Squentz, featuring… a pretentious schoolteacher, a bearded maiden, a tragic love affair, "a play within a play," a lion in a green hoody, a prince who rocks, a good bit of fistfighting, and a woman playing a man playing a wall. It's Brecht meets Waiting for Guffman, floating between the 17th century and now.

The German Program presents its annual Maifest German Day on Friday, April 25, on the BGSU campus.Our guests from area high schools will compete with skits, poetry recitation, commercials, and a culture quiz, and participate in workshops on various topics.
