Each semester the GradSTEP Ongoing Program sponsors a variety of professional development seminars that are open to all students
on campus - even if you have already completed your GradSTEP requirements. Please note that there are several opportunities
sponsored by other areas for enhancing your teaching, research, and technology skills as well as personal and professional
development. Feel free to take advantage of these workshops as they will count toward GradSTEP hours.
Although it is not required for attendance our presenters find it helpful to know approximately how many guests will be attending
their sessions. We would be very grateful If you would please send an email to grad6000@bgsu.edu to let us know which workshops you would like to attend.
We have several great workshops to select from, I hope you are able to attend. Since these announcements are not displayed according to the nearest date, please scroll to the end of the announcements to
see sessions that are closer to the current calendar date so you don't miss them.
The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) offers several workshops throughout the academic year. The CTL is an on-campus resource available only to faculty
members and graduate students. We encourage students to utilize resources like this (and others, like the Career Center)
as much as possible, even beyond the requirements of GradSTEP, because they exist specifically to help you in your professional
life. More information about the CTL workshops is listed here.
Here are some upcoming sessions and workshops sure to benefit even the most seasoned graduate student or professor. This
list is frequently updated so please check back periodically for new opportunities.
