We offer extracurricular activities for international students because we know that International students must make many adjustments as they come to the United States. They encounter new foods, new culture, and even a new language!

American Culture through Film is a non-credit, extracurricular course that offers international students a great opportunity to learn about all aspects of American culture, as well as to improve their English. Students watch a variety of movies that deal with themes such as family, work, the American justice system, youth, and more. Interesting and informative discussions take place before and after each movie. Each week, students receive handouts about the next week's film. The handouts offer information about the film's content, movie critic reviews, and some vocabulary words and idiomatic expressions found in the film.

**Sorry, ACTF will not run this semester.
