English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

ESOL class

The mission of the English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Program at Bowling Green State University is to provide undergraduate and graduate international students who are currently enrolled at BGSU with English language support. This support is provided in the form of English language proficiency testing, placement into supplementary English language courses, and informational services provided to students and faculty.

If you are interested in an Intensive English Program but you are not currently enrolled as a student at BGSU, you may wish to contact Bowling Green branch of The Language Company about their course offerings. If you are a prospective student who would like information about admission to the university, please contact International Student Services. If you are a graduate student interested in acquiring a certificate in TESOL, please consult the TESOL Certificate Program.
