Who Went Where
All Environmental majors are required to take ENVS 489 Internship, or ENVS 470 Independent Study.   To apply for these courses students must complete applications and have their course registered.   This is done during the first week of the semester and is then included in the 18 credit hours that are allowed for each full-time student.    We register you individually here in the department.   Both Marian and Justine have the ENVS 489 and ENVS 470 forms.   Megan Hughes is the Internship Coordinator for Environmental Programs and he can help with advice about resumés, letters of application, and appropriate internship choices.   There is an academic component required for ENVS 489 and 470, which usually takes the form of a report or research paper.   Since each internship is a course, each must have a faculty supervisor.   This must be a faculty member who will read your report and give it a grade.   If you want to talk about your internship, see Megan in 249 Shatzel Hall.
