Being involved on campus is a great way to enhance the BGSU experience.  Many of our majors take advantage of this and help us move BGSU and the surrounding community forward toward sustainability.  Opportunities abound through involvement with the Environmental Action Group, the Environmental Health Student Group, the Center for Environmental Programs, and other campus organizations that can benefit from your knowledge of environmental issues.

Our faculty are very interested in talking with you, and optimizing your experience at BGSU.  You already know from attending classes that we maintain small course sizes, providing a lot of opportunity for individual discussions.  For course advising,
Environmental Policy and Analysis and Environmental Science majors should make an appointment with Dr. Holly Myers.
Environmental Health majors should see Dr. Gary Silverman.  For information about internships, please see Dr. Richard Mbatu.  You also are very welcome to talk to any of our faculty about your interests and future directions.

As you prepare for graduation, you probably will start thinking about employment or graduate education.  Our pre-medicine and pre-law students probably have a good sense of where they are going, and others have a wealth of possibilities.  Take a look at our listing of
some of the interesting places that hire our students.  Again, our faculty are here to help – come by for a chat.
