All environmental students must take an Internship (ENVS 489) or an Independent Study (ENVS 470) for 1-3 credits as a requirement for graduation. A written report based on the work and research at the site is also required.

These courses are registered through the department and will be added to the student's schedule during the first week of the semester.

Students must select a supervisor to guide the experience at the site and a faculty member to direct the development of the internship report.
