An Undergraduate Student Exchange with The University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario

 


This exchange program will accept 5 students from BGSU and 5 from the University of Guelph each year.

Environmental major students in good standing with 60 credit hours are eligible.

Tuition and room and meals for the semester are paid to the University of Guelph at the favorable exchange rate when you arrive on campus.

General fees are paid at Guelph. They entitle you to use all facilities and attend campus events.

A special fee for health care and a local bus pass are also required.

Travel grants are sometimes available.

The University of Guelph offers environmental degree programs with specialized courses in many field of study such as soil science, biophysical environments, radiation monitoring, pesticides, environmental risk assessment, and forest ecology. Living and Learning...
You can travel for fun to see new places, to meet new people, to take a break from the daily grind. You will be learning something new every waking moment and it will NOT be only from books. Living in a foreign country is an investment in yourself that will pay dividends for the rest of your life.
At Guelph you will advance your education by carrying a full courseload of 15 semester hours. Courses taken during the semester or year will apply toward your program or emphasis.
Unique Internship Experience...
The staff at Guelph will help you find an internship based on your individual interests and needs. Living arrangements during your internship will be part of the planning process and worked out with the help of Guelph's advisors.
And...
If you are now receiving financial aid, it will apply to this program. Tuition, room and board are covered. Many personal expenses such as books and supplies, program fees and local transportation may also qualify for financial aid. Apply for travel funds from the BGSU Study Abroad Program.
