Epsilon Kappa Theta

Epsilon Kappa Theta is the Environmental Studies Honor Society at BGSU. It was formed in 1996 to offer recognition for outstanding academic achievement in environmental studies. Memebers have met several university and honor society criteria. Selection standards include: at least three semesters (40 semester hours) at BGSU, rank in the upper 35% of class and college, a major in Environmental Science or Environmental Policy, a 3.25 or better GPA in ENVS courses.

The BGSU chapter was the first environmental honor society in the country. Members have worked to bring the society to other campuses. These members provide service to the university and schedule programs with professionals in environmental career fields. Student members are dedicated to creating an organization which will enhance the ENVS program and enrich the quality of their university education.
