Environmental Health Student Research
Undergraduate research is an important part of the Environmental
Health Program. Recent research projects that students have done or
been involved in include:
- Halogenated hydrocarbons in drinking water,
- Exposure to organic vapors in workplaces,
- Chromium emissions from electroplating operations,
- Pollutant transport in indoor air systems,
- Industrial noise exposure modeling
- Residential noise exposure near highways,
- Pesticides in plants,
- Hazardous waste flow through Wood County,
- Perceptions of drinking water quality, and
- Ambient air quality monitoring
