A Graduate student's day probably starts here...

Offices, graduate seminar rooms, graduate student computer labs, department mailboxes, and a lounge with a refrigerator and a microwave are all here in East Hall.

Graduate assistants decorate their offices in East Hall to their own liking, and usually share an office with one other student. All offices are wired for Internet access. Desks, bookshelves, and a computer desk are all provided. Every office has a a window view of the atrium or of campus.

Classes are held in a variety of places including the seminar rooms in East Hall that have a spectacular view of the quad (most rhetoric classes), the computer labs on the first floor of East Hall (English 780), and a number of other buildings on campus depending on your cognate area of research.

Graduate teaching assistants may be teaching a class for the General Studies Writing Department in one of the buildings around campus. Many English classes are taught in historical buildings such as University Hall, featured below.

East Hall is also home to the English Department's graduate student computer workroom which houses several new Macintosh G4's and printers. Other computer labs for students, faculty and staff are located in the campus' main technology center, Hayes Hall, pictured below. Hayes Hall gives access to PC computers as well as the Macintosh G4's . A FAX machine and printers are also located here.

One other place of interest is McFall Center (pictured below) home of the Graduate College, and the place to pick up program descriptions and application materials for graduate study at BGSU.
