Lance Massey and Lee Nickoson-Massey are two new assistant professors
teaching in the R&W program. Both came to BGSU from Elon University, where
each taught from 2003 to 2006. Below is some additional information on Lance
and Lee.
Lance Massey earned a Ph.D. in English/Writing Studies from the University
of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2005 and an M.A. in English Literature from
Southwest Missouri State University in 1997. His current research interests
include the assessment of rhetoric and composition's past, present and future
as well as the role of writing in disciplinary processes.
Lee Nickoson-Massey earned a Ph.D. in English Studies from Illinois State University
in 2003 and an M.A. in English Literature from Southwest Missouri State University
in 1994. Her current research interests include writing assessment, feminism
and composition and writing pedagogy
