The Integrated Language Arts Program will ultimately lead to an Ohio licensure in secondary education for teaching subjects such as English, communication, and journalism. However, many students also choose career opportunities in government, business, and social services. BGSU graduates have enjoyed tremendous success in the employment marketplace, ranking well above the national average in job placements. Organizations annually visit the employment office seeking education graduates. Additionally, BGSU's College of Education and Human Development Teacher Job Fair is Ohio's largest placement resource for graduating education majors.
