General information for FH Salzburg students

Students from FH Salzburg are permitted to study as undergraduates or as graduate students depending on their status in the home institution. A complete tuition waiver is available, but without a scholarship or assistantship. After successful completion of two terms at BGSU, FH Salzburg students are entitled to do their internships within an occupational setting provided by BGSU. Students from FH Salzburg studying in their seventh semester may, under certain circumstances, be directly placed into an internship for their practical training at a company. The arrangements are made by BGSU, which thereby acts as the employer of record. This is only applicable as permitted by national and State laws.

The Center for International Programs, in cooperation with the Department of Computer Science, is responsible for taking care of the needs of FH Salzburg students. This includes an orientation program, academic advising, and assistance in extracurricular activities.
