You should check your BGNet email on a regular basis. If you are a computer science major, the department will occasionally send important notices to your BGNet email account. Also, email sent from a Blackboard course will be sent to your individual BGNet email account. If you do not use your BGNet email account, the following tells you how to forward your BGNet email to whatever e-mail service you use:

1. Log onto your email using http://webmail.bgsu.edu
2. Click on Filter Options at the top of the page
3. Log in using your bgnet username and password
4. Click on Forward My Messages
5. Click on Forward messages to the address(es) below
6. Click on Without leaving a copy on this account
7. Type in the email address for forwarding and click Add
8. Click Apply
