The Chemical Storage Facility is home to our inorganic and organic chemicals as well as various glassware and equipment used by the researchers and undergraduates. The stockroom staff provide the instructional labs with equipment and chemicals needed for experiments.

The stockroom supervisor, Mary Hageman, along with the BGSU Environmental Health and Safety Department, assures and oversees safety in the laboratories, especially the research labs. The hazardous waste generated in instructional and research labs are brought down to the stockroom's waste area where an outside environmental service properly disposes of the waste. Furthermore, the staff purchases and safely dispenses the chemicals and equipment needed by researchers and the instructional labs.
