Dr. Natalia Tarasova, Professor of Chemistry at Mendeleyev University of Chemical Technology in Moscow, Russia, who has been instrumental in providing the Center for Photochemical Sciences with outstanding Ph.D. students, was awarded an honorary doctorate by Bowling Green State University on May 9, 2003  (read more...).

A celebration followed at the Perrysburg home of Dr. D.C. Neckers, which included several students from Mendeleyev who have or are in the process of obtaining a Ph.D. in Photochemical Sciences from BGSU.
