Metric System


The Metric System is in everyday use EVERYWHERE in the  (world) except in the United States , where the old English system is used.  Even the British  don't use the English system!  Canada  and Mexico  have gone metric.  France first adopted the metric system in 1795!  With increasing globalization, American citizens will have to learn to use metric units in everyday life as well as in their careers.  It is already standard in most scientific fields.
