Welcome the online tutorial of the human skull. This tutorial will allow you to interact with images of the skull in order to better learn about and memorize its many parts. It is best viewed on a PC using Internet Explorer.

The tutorial is designed specifically for students in beginning anatomy classes.

Instructions

1.  Choose which portion of the skull you would like to learn about from the links above: Main Bones, Sutures,        Processes & Foramen.

2.  Once on the index page, click on any part of the skull image. The part will light up and the name of the part will      be displayed in the box in the top right corner of the screen. A memory tip to help you remember the part will      be displayed in the box in the bottom right corner of the screen.

     You can also choose a part from the links in the Word bank box on the bottom left side of the screen.

    [Note:] Using the View box in the middle of the left side of the screen, you can see the skull from different     angles.


3.  Repeat this process until you are confident with your knowledge of the human skull.
