Tropical rainforest on cliffs and trees Captive Care: Need a
tall terrarium with a fine gravel, or vermiculite substrate, branches
or bark to hide behind. A rubber tree or devil's ivy is an appropriate
plant. Water: Don't drink form
a bowl so mist the cage and plant leaves daily. Misting also helps keep
the high humidity of around 40 to 80 percent. Temperature: 82- 90 F day time,
65- 75 F nighttime. Lighting: Incandescent
or fluorescent during the day, and a red light at night. Full spectrum
lighting is recommended with plants. Diet: Crickets (calcium
dusted), mealworms, pinky mice, cockroaches, grasshoppers, and locusts.
Hatchlings need feed 6 to 7 times a week. Adults need feed 3- 4 times
a week. Temperament: Very aggressive.
