The biology department has two graduate computer labs facilities in the Life Sciences building. The third floor grad lab is comprised of three G3 and three Power Macintosh computers, a Pentium II computer, an SGI workstation, and a scanner. The fifth floor grad lab contains computers specifically designed for molecular biology analyses.
In addition to the two main labs, there are several smaller work specific computer facilities located throughout the building. These include one for the Scanning Electron Microscope and the Transmission Electron Microscope.
In addition to the computer facilities in the Life Sciences Building there are many additional computer facilitiess on campus. These include instructional labs for class instruction, open-labs, email stations, and high end graphics and multimedia labs. The campus has recently been upgraded to a new high-speed network with digital video facilities. Please consult the BGSU Information Technology Services for further details.
