Gomphonema christenseni - Lowe & Kociolek

We have only a single record of this taxon in the park although further exploration will probably result in a broader distribution record. It occurs as an epiphyte in Bower Creek, a tributary of Forge Creek in Abrams Creek watershed, Blount Co., TN.
