  • 9th Annual Jean Pasakarnis-Buchanan Lecture - Monday April 21, 2008: Dr. Susan Golden, a Distinguished Professor of Biology and a member of the Center for Research on Biological Clocks at Texas A&M University, will present "How a Bacterium Knows When to Wake Up." BGSU’s annual Buchanan lecture series was created in 1998 through an endowment by Jean Pasakarnis-Buchanan. Her lectureship endowment has allowed the University to bring some of the leading figures in biology and medicine to campus each year.
