Welcome to the home of Air Force ROTC Detachment 620 at Bowling Green State University!  Our mission is to develop future leaders for the United States Air Force by providing leadership opportunities, physical training, and mentorship.

The Air Force shares a rich history with BGSU stretching back even before our detachment’s official establishment in July of 1951.  Bricker Field, now known as Wood County Regional Airport, was an integral piece of the United States' military aviation training during World War II.  The university and Detachment 620 have grown together over the past sixty years, and today we offer AFROTC to students at Bowling Green State University, the University of Toledo, Ohio Northern University, the University of Findlay, Heidelberg College, Owens Community College, Tiffin University, and Lourdes University.

Prospective cadets and their parents, as well as current cadets and friends of Det 620, will find useful information on this website.  Do not hesitate to call or email us directly with any comments or questions.

And please feel free to come by and visit the detachment and our future Air Force leaders.

Hien T. Nguyen, Lt Col, USAF
Commander
