COURTHOUSE ARCHITECTURE

Constructed from 1894 to 1896, the Wood County Courthouse in Bowling Green, Ohio, is representative of an architectural style known as Richardson Romanesque.

Architects Joseph Yost and Frank Packard of Columbus, Ohio, well known for their work throughout the state, designed the structure. Whyte and Priest of Dayton, Ohio, they too renowned for their creations, were employed as architectural sculptors.
