Dr. Terry L. Herman is an Assistant Professor in the Visual Communication and Technology Education program at Bowling Green State University's College of Technology. Her research interests have focused on virtual and synthetic learning environments, online learning, adaptive educational hypermedia, instructional design, and interactive multimedia. She has presented at national and international conferences. Recent articles include Collaboration beyond the Virtual Classroom through Wikis for the Journal of Industrial Technology and Face-to-Face versus Online Coursework:  A Comparison of Learning Outcomes and Costs for Contemporary Issues in Technology and Teacher Education - Current Practices.

 

Paul Cesarini is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Visual Communication & Technology Education, in the Advanced Technological Education (ATE) program. His current research and work focuses on digital rights management and the on-going erosion of fair use for audio, video, and text. He has written for a wide variety of academic journals and trade publications, including The Chronicle of Higher Education, EDUCAUSE Review, The Journal on Excellence in College Teaching, ACADEME, The IT Manager's Journal, The Journal of Industrial Technology, The Journal of Literacy and Technology, the International Society for Exploring Teaching and Learning, and others. More recently, Paul served as keynote speaker for the Wired for the Future symposium and the 2006 ResNet conference. Paul is an active member of the Electronic Frontier Foundation, The Center for Democracy and Technology, and the Society for Technical Communication.
