Writing Your Teaching Philosophy

An instructor’s teaching philosophy is a work of self-reflection; a statement of an instructor’s beliefs on teaching and learning.  Teaching philosophies are increasingly becoming necessary parts of an academic job search dossier as well as serving as a reflective and formative document that can help instructors evaluate and improve their teaching.  This workshop is meant to provide you with practical advice in creating a well-crafted philosophy of teaching.
