Writing and Implementing Student Learning Outcomes

Learning outcomes help everyone—instructors and students alike—keep their eyes on the prize. They help instructors structure class activities to foster higher-order thinking skills and they help students learn metacognition—the ability to think critically about their own learning. In this workshop you will learn about how to design powerful learning outcomes and how to harness their power to structure the learning environment.
