Dealing with Difficult Students in the Classroom

Instructors might assume that dealing with disruptive or uncivil behavior from students would not be an issue at the university level.  The unfortunate truth is that some students do not know how to behave in the college classroom and it is up to the instructor to address these behaviors or risk compromising the learning experience of other students.  This interactive discussion is designed to provide participants with practical advice on how instructors can prevent disruptive behavior as well as dealing with classroom issues when they occur.
