On Friday, February 10, 2012, the BGSU community gathers to celebrate student achievement of the University Learning Outcomes through best teaching and learning practices. Faculty, staff, and graduate students demonstrate their teaching and learning strategies and activities, and undergraduate students share their meaningful research and creative activities in all fields of study.
Come to the Fair! Fairgoers will interact with BGSU community members who are demonstrating commitment to student learning and development; for example:
• learner-centered course planning and activities • learner activities that occur outside of the classroom and engage others in action while participating and leading • application of pedagogies and teaching strategies: active learning, problem-based learning, inquiry-based learning • approaches to the assessment of student learning • course design and experiences that afford learners opportunities to participate in an organized service activity
New this year─an Undergraduate Student Research Showcase Fairgoers will interact with undergraduate students as they present their research projects.
Keynote Presentations Dr. Todd Zakrajsekwill deliver two keynote addresses.
