Geography Club

The BGSU Geography Club is a community of geography enthusiasts who work to introduce and promote the knowledge of geographical issues on the BGSU campus. The club also promotes fellowship among the students and faculty at BGSU who enjoy geography, and welcomes the participation of students, faculty, and alumni from any major or minor.

Examples of past club activities include a trip to help clean up tornado damage in the Oak Openings region of northwest Ohio, participation in a Severe Weather Symposium, holiday and pizza parties, and various service activities.

Join the "BGSU Geographers" group on Facebook if you want to learn more about the club's upcoming meetings and related events. This Facebook group is also a good resource for networking with geography majors and minors, alumni, and others who are interested in geography.

In addition, you can contact Dr. Karen Johnson-Webb (kdjohn@bgsu.edu), the BGSU Geography Club's faculty advisor, to learn more about the club.
