VCT majors receive instruction in basic photography principles, including lighting, photo retouching and manipulation, and special techniques.
Visual Courses for students who choose a specialization in video may include video production techniques, non-linear video production, and audio recording techniques.
Students are introduced to Web design and Internet technologies, centering on both usability and accessibility for a variety of audiences.
Students who choose the print media specialization often pursue a minor in business or pursue additional coursework in graphic design through BGSU’s School of Art.
