Preview Days for fall semester 2011 will be held October 29th and December 3rd. Meet with BGSU architecture faculty, tour studio spaces, and view student projects. Third Year Studio Projects To Be Displayed At "National Train Day" in Toledo

As part of the National Train Day, selected projects of Arch 3220 studio will be exhibited in Toledo Amtrak Train Station on April 30, 2011 on invitation from Diane Reamer-Evans, Transportation Project Manager of the Toledo Metropolitan Area Council of Governments (TMACOG). Led by Salim Elwazani and John Ryan and completed on sites adjacent to University of Toledo and Bowling Green State University campuses, the project was planned in conjunction with the Ohio Higher Education Rail Network (OHERN). Rail advocates from TMACOG and OHERN attended the open forum style review of 27 student designs on February 16, 2011.

Architecture Faculty Member Receives Award From The University Library

Dr. Andreas Luescher was honored at the 2011 "Authors and Artists Recognition Reception" for his recently published book "The Architects Portfolio." A permanent bookplate will be placed in the Jerome Library in honor of his work.The event is sponsored by the Office of The Provost and the Friends of the University libraries.


Architecture Students Honored at Deans List Reception

The College of Technology Dean's List included 45 Architecture majors who received the honor for their academic performance in Fall 2010. A reception was held March 29th for to acknowledge the student's achievements. Students making the list must have earned a semester grade point of 3.50 or higher. Fifteen of the Architecture majors receiving this recognition earned a perfect 4.0 in Fall 2010. Four additional Architecture majors were placed on the Dean's Honor Roll, which is a recognition of part-time students for their academic performance.
