High school students will be introduced to the field of Architecture during a 2-week summer program at Bowling Green State University. Experts in the industry will teach the coursework and participants will develop work for portfolios preparing them to apply for a professional degree program. Read more
Professor Andreas Luescher organized a class trip to tour ASM International, formerly the American Society for Metals, located near Cleveland in Geauga County. The dome is the world's largest open air geodesic dome. Built in 1959, the complex was listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 2009. BGSU Architecture students were given a a special tour of the interior of the 100' tall, 275' diameter dual-domed structure that is not ordinarily available to the public.

Preview Day for spring semester is April 20 from 9 a.m.-noon. Meet with BGSU architecture faculty and others from the College of Technology to learn about the exciting programs available. Go to bgsu.edu and click on Admissions to register or learn more about Spring Preview Day.
You can schedule a meeting with the Department of Architecture individually to discuss the program and the profession. You can do this separately or as part of a regular campus visit and tour. Call 419-372 ARCH (2724) to schedule your appointment.
The Department of Architecture successfully hosted our Eligibility visit by the National Architectural Accrediting Board. We look forward to the next steps in our accreditation process. Our next NAAB visit will be in spring 2013.
