All students enter the College of Technology as a provisional or “pre” member of their major. Full membership, or matriculation, occurs after a student has:

• Attained an overall BGSU grade point average of at least 2.25 for all courses

• Completed a cooperative education experience (TECH 289) (for all programs except technology
   education)

• Completed with a grade of "C" or better all courses in bold print on their program checksheet

• Earned an overall grade point average of at least 2.5 in their major

The steps listed above must be completed before students will be permitted to register for 300- and 400-level courses in the College of Technology. Students apply for program entry, or matriculation, in Student Program Services, 102 Technology Building
