Tenure Track Assistant/Associate Professor, Department of Engineering Technology
The Department of Engineering Technology (DET) seeks a tenure track, assistant or associate professor to teach, conduct applied research and be of service primarily in Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology (EMET); but with strong relationships to Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET); and Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology (ECET). DET faculty are making preparations for ETAC-ABET accreditation in EMET.
Salary and Position
Salary is competitive, commensurate with rank/position, based on candidate experience and credentials. Position is academic year (nine months), with possible summer teaching and applied research opportunities, and benefits are included.
Effective Date of Employment/Closing Date
Review of applications will start January 25 and they will be accepted through March 8. August, 2013 is the desired start date.

The DET is making steady progress toward ETAC-ABET accreditation with selected majors, and all majors are currently ATMAE accredited.
