"Teaching Imaging Techniques Across Media"

This conference is designed as a professional development program for high school and college teachers who teach any type of imaging or visual media.

The conference program is directed toward educators who teach classes where they use:

- Photography
- Video
- Year Book Design / Layout / Production
- Commercial Art
- Graphic Design
- Web Development / Design
- Interactive Media
- Multi-Media
- Printing
- Giclee' (inkjet art prints)

Combining imaging methods across media (video, print, photo, web) to achieve more effective communication is current professional practice. This conference will focus on cross-media trends in communication and education. Media professionals will present current cross-media and project management strategies that are used in business and industry.

Imaging experts will demonstrate cross-media imaging techniques for video to web, giclee' printing (inkjet art prints), interactivity for print, web to print, and web media for instructional design.

Education topics will include a teacher update from the Ohio Department of Education. Student recruitment and college transfer articulation will also be discussed.
