The College of Technology is a pioneer at BGSU in offering distance education. The Advanced Technological Education major, which leads to the Bachelor of Science in Technology degree, can be completed totally online. This program is available
only to students who have earned an associate degree in a technical and/or applied area.
Faculty and academic advisors in ATE and the College of Technology’s Undergraduate Program Services office are experienced in assessing whether you are a good candidate for an online degree program and in working with an online
adult community. The ATE program is also fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association
of Colleges and Schools.
