Engineering Technology Advisory
Committee
The Engineering Technology Advisory Committee (ENGTAC) is
the newest advisory committee
in the College of Technology. ENGTAC was launched in the summer of 2009,
with a first meeting held at BGSU. Formation of ENGTAC followed the
launching of the newly configured Engineering Technology academic major
and program in fall, 2007.
Various
industries and educational institutions, and other local leaders combine to advise the
Engineering Technology group
in ways which are further explained in various documents provided below.
Much of this is driven by, or at least heavily influenced by, TAC ABET
accreditation. A
listing of current participants is also provided in an Excel format below.
It is anticipated that typically three meetings will be held annually.
