Center for Applied Technology

Dr. Sinn was appointed to be the Interim Director of the Center for Applied Technology (CAT) in summer, 2006. Since that time CAT has been in a state of transition, with Dr. Sinn under a new Dean, Wayne Unsell. Wendy Like has been serving as the Laboratory Project Manger during this period of change.

The CAT is planning to move from Saddlemire into Lab 124 of the College of Techology during the summer of 2007. Several new ventures are planned as CAT transitions, and many of these remain in the proposal stages. Particularly important will be to gain additional strong input, feedback and guidance from faculty and others as CAT positions itself for being reintroduced as a Center for Applied Research in Technology (CART) in the fall, 2007.

Possible new projects and ventures for the future are shown below. Each proposal is identified and startup detail provided to enable persons to be able to use the information appropriately. Please feel free to email Dr. Sinn with ideas regarding any of these.
