Music Admissions Coordinator Assistant (available Fall 2009)

The student selected for this position will assist the Coordinator of Music Admissions (office work), represent the College at University student recruitment functions, conduct MMAC tours for prospective undergraduate students, compile reports and assist with specific events. Good communication skills, ability to work independently and enjoyment in meeting people are required.

Public Events Office (available Fall 2009)

Typical duties include producing large and small ensembles and faculty recital programs on Macintosh platform, assisting with Festival Series, promoting for college events and general office duties. Prerequisites include arts management experience and/or background, computer experience, experience working with the public, good typing skills, and Web site construction. Computer experience and good communication skills are required.

Arts Experience (available Fall 2009)

Students will lead discussion sections for the Arts and Sciences 110 multi-disciplinary arts general education class that is organized around live arts events on campus, including concerts, art exhibitions, dance recitals and plays. Arts experience graduate assistants will register for a one-credit Interdisciplinary Arts Pedagogy Seminar. Students who would enjoy a multiple arts perspective, managing group discussions and involvement in an exciting new campus general education class are encouraged to apply.
