The Office of Public Events at the College of Musical Arts is primarily responsible for scheduling and publicizing the multitude of performances and events that occur both on and off the campus. The scope of these activities is vast, encompassing the Faculty Artist Series, fully staged operas, choirs, orchestra, bands and other student ensembles, as well as concerts by internationally renowned guest artists.
The staff of the Public Events area includes the director, manager of publicity and publications, techical director, piano technician, recording services manager and box office manager. Student workers also provide valuable assistance to this busy department.
