Guest Stage Director
Eric Gibson is in his 10th Season with Light Opera Oklahoma in Tulsa. As artistic director for LOK, he has staged productions of The Pirates of Penzance, Candide, Into the Woods, Sweeney Todd, Naughty Marietta, The Music Man, H.M.S. Pinafore, Fiddler on the Roof, The Sorcerer, Guys & Dolls, The Merry Widow, Iolanthe, South Pacific, Die Fledermaus and Trial by Jury. Gibson has worked on the staff of Tulsa Opera, Washington Opera, Glimmerglass Opera, Pittsburgh Opera and Dallas Opera. An accomplished pianist, he has accompanied many cabarets and special events and holds degrees in music and theatre from the University of Michigan and Indiana University. Upcoming engagements include work for Light Opera Oklahoma, Wichita Grand Opera and Opera Vivente in Baltimore.
