Music from Bowling Green at the Manor House
The Outreach Program of the College of Musical Arts presents a number of events off-campus each year. Among them, the popular “Bowling Green at the Manor House” program begins its season in January. The following concerts will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the Manor House at Toledo’s Wildwood Preserve Metropark.
Manor House events for 1998–1999 will include:
- January 19 – Kevin Schempf, clarinet
- February 2 – Bowling Green Opera Theater
- February 16 – Violafest with Students from the Studio of Professor Nancy Buck
- March 2 – Brass Chamber Music
- March 16 – Christopher Scholl, tenor, and Ellen Strba, mezzo-soprano
- April 6 – Venti da Camera
- April 20 – Piano Students from the Studio of Distinguished Teaching Professor Virginia Marks
In addition, Outreach provides music for such special events for organizations such as Mid Am Bank and Trust; Wood County Hospital; the International Programs’ International Dinner; the Boulé group; and various weddings, church services and commercial performance opportunities throughout northwest Ohio.
